As for the trig, I did better with trig than I did with calculus, but that all relates back to the whole preference of geometry over algebra thing... But none of it is any fun at all after like 6th grade. (Of course, 6th grade is really where the useful math is taught, as opposed to all that higher math that you will NEVER ever use after you close the book for the semester!
