UPDATE: I feel that I owe an explanation.
At first I didn’t think that I needed to give one…. but after reading all of your emails and comments, I now know that I do. I’ve been blogging for a year and I guess it is pretty rude to take off without explaining first.
After I’ve thought about the situation some more I will write about what is going on.
I’m just not ready yet.

I totally understand about the quitting blogging thing. I’ve been contemplating it myself, I used to get alot more done before I started blogging, now, I feel sometimes I’m ignoring my kids just to post something creative or read other blogs. I started blogging when they were younger, and would take regular naps, but now they are 4 and 2 respectively and there are no more naps, and I’m just feeling like I’m not giving them (or the housework) the attention that I should.
I wish you all the best. If anything, I feel a sense of “I’m not the only one” dealing with the disdain of Doodlebops and the mess-making kids.
NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I am seriously saddened. You do what you have to do but remember we will always be here if you get that blogging itch to come back. Hi Nello. I still have some greeting cards sitting here with no address to mail them to for designing my art blog. You must do what you feel is best.
On my personal blog… I’m on my 16th one (meaning I’ve deleted 15 URL’s to make my 16th one) since October 20, 2004 when I first started. It’s not the same back in the early days when I first started blogging. Perhaps you have felt the same as well. I also have given up on a lot of actual activities with friends to stay home to “blog” and how insane is that?
I will miss your humor and miss seeing photos of your adorable tots.
