Your doctor works FOR *you*, i.e. you pay for his/her huge ring, the family pool, and for his kid's private school. You CAN fire him/her at anytime. Do not feel intimidated by ANY ONE when you are feeling the way you do. I have FMS. I *had* migraines. I had a bunch of crap that many doctors felt was "insanity" (um, no that would be a bleeding ulcer), "Mormon Mother Syndrome" (yup, kidney stones!), and "Severe Depression" (this was a ruptured apendix). Some doctors are great, others, well they make their minds up before they even see you. You must be your own advocate! If you *feel* dr. is a jerk, chances are your feelings are correct. Do not waste time, do not collect $200., Do not pass go, FIRE HIS/HER BUTT AND GET A NEW ONE! I say HOORAY! I am glad that you are well enoug hto write, I MISSED your blog very much.
